Last updated: October 10, 2026
Women4Kansas PAC (the “PAC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us when you visit https://www.women4kansaspac.com/ (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
Please review this Policy when using the Site. Any consent required for a particular activity, such as certain text-message communications, will be requested separately where applicable.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:
-
On the Site, including contact forms, event registration, volunteer sign-ups, contribution links, and embedded or framed services when information is made available to the PAC.
-
Through email, text, and other electronic communications with the PAC that originate through or relate to the Site.
-
Through official PAC advertising or social media activities that direct visitors to this Site or this Policy.
This Policy does not govern the independent collection or processing practices of third-party websites and platforms, including payment processors, social media services, petition tools, and email providers. Those services may have their own privacy notices. However, this Policy applies to personal information that they provide to the PAC and that the PAC maintains or uses. Information collected entirely offline and unrelated to the Site or these activities may be subject to separate practices.
2. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to applicable legal obligations. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact us using the information in Section 12.
3. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and information received from other sources.
3.1 INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE DIRECTLY
-
Contact Information — Your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and similar details when you contact us or sign up for updates.
-
Volunteer and Event Information — Interests, availability, activities, event registrations, and information you choose to provide when volunteering or participating in PAC-sponsored activities.
-
Contribution Information — Your name, mailing address, contact details, contribution amount and date, and information needed to determine eligibility, process contributions, maintain records, or meet applicable reporting requirements. Depending on the amount and source of a contribution, occupation or other contributor information may be required under Kansas law. Payment-card and banking information is ordinarily processed by a separate payment processor; we do not represent that the PAC receives or stores full payment credentials.
-
Surveys and Feedback — Responses to questionnaires, issue surveys, petitions, polls, and comments you voluntarily submit.
-
Communications — Messages, requests, and correspondence you send to us, including responses to PAC emails or texts.
Providing information is generally voluntary, although some information may be necessary to process a contribution, respond to an inquiry, or enable a requested service.
3.2 INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect technical and usage information through server logs, cookies, pixels, and similar technology, depending on the tools enabled on the Site. Such information may include:
-
Internet Protocol (IP) address, approximate location inferred from IP address, and device or browser identifiers.
-
Browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, links clicked, and dates and times of visits.
-
Analytics, performance, advertising measurement, and security information.
You can typically limit cookies in your browser settings. Some Site features may function differently when cookies are restricted.
3.3 INFORMATION FROM OTHER SOURCES
Where lawful and relevant to our work, we may obtain or combine information from publicly available records (including voter registration data where legally permitted), nonprofit or commercial data providers, event partners, and social media platforms when you interact with our public content. This may help us maintain accurate contact records and understand engagement with our communications.
4. How We Use Your Information
We may use the information described in this Policy for the following purposes:
-
Communications — To respond to inquiries and provide updates about the PAC, its activities, events, volunteer opportunities, fundraising, elections, candidates, and public policy issues.
-
Political Advocacy and Organizing — To conduct advocacy, voter education, events, research, volunteer coordination, and other lawful PAC activities.
-
Contributions and Compliance — To process donations, maintain contribution and expenditure records, evaluate applicable contribution requirements, prepare disclosures, and satisfy Kansas campaign finance and other legal obligations.
-
Candidate Support and Independent Expenditures — To administer lawful PAC contributions to candidates or other committees and, separately, independent political communications and expenditures when undertaken by the PAC. Activities described as independent will be handled subject to applicable non-coordination and reporting requirements.
-
Website Operations — To maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and evaluate the effectiveness of its content.
-
Advertising and Measurement — To measure the performance of advertising, develop audiences, and conduct permitted advertising and outreach activities using information and technologies actually employed by the PAC.
-
Security and Legal Matters — To prevent fraud, protect our systems and rights, respond to legitimate legal requests, and satisfy legal requirements.
We may also use information for purposes explained at the time of collection or with consent where consent is required.
5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
5.1 SERVICE PROVIDERS AND VENDORS
We may provide information to service providers acting on our behalf, such as website hosts, email and text-message platforms, donation processors, analytics and advertising vendors, event platforms, voter-contact systems, and professional consultants. We seek to share only information reasonably necessary for their services and expect appropriate protection of the data. A provider may also process information under its own privacy practices where it independently determines how that information is used.
5.2 POLITICAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL SHARING
Where consistent with law and our actual practices, we may share information with authorized political consultants, vendors, partner organizations, other political committees, or candidates for lawful administrative, fundraising, advocacy, or electoral purposes. Sharing data is not permission to coordinate an expenditure that must legally remain independent. Any disclosure to a candidate or committee, and any coordinated activity, must comply with applicable campaign finance law. We will not characterize a coordinated expenditure as independent.
5.3 LEGAL AND SAFETY
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, campaign finance disclosure requirement, subpoena, or other valid legal process; to enforce applicable policies; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the PAC and others.
5.4 ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES
If the PAC reorganizes, combines operations with another organization, or winds down, information may be retained, transferred, or disposed of as permitted by law and consistent with applicable recordkeeping duties. We will not assume that unrelated organizations may use information for any purpose without appropriate legal authority.
5.5 WITH YOUR DIRECTION OR CONSENT
We may disclose information for other purposes at your direction or with your consent when appropriate.
We do not sell personal information to commercial marketers. This statement does not exclude lawful sharing with vendors and political organizations as described above, including sharing that may be treated differently under some privacy laws.
6. ONLINE ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS
The PAC may use analytics and digital advertising services, which can include cookies, pixels, conversion tags, and similar technologies, to understand Site use, measure advertising results, and deliver relevant political or issue-related communications where permitted by law. Depending on the providers and settings in use, those providers may collect or receive information from this Site and other sources and may associate it with your activities across services.
You may limit some tracking through browser controls, device privacy settings, and choices offered by the relevant advertising platforms. These steps may reduce personalized advertising but do not guarantee that you will no longer see communications from the PAC. The PAC will comply with applicable legal requirements governing the collection, disclosure, and use of personal information and political advertising.
7. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
-
Email — You may unsubscribe from PAC marketing or informational emails using the unsubscribe link when provided, or by contacting us.
-
Text Messages — When text messaging is used, you may opt out by replying STOP or following the instructions provided in the message. Message and data rates may apply. Any required consent to receive automated or marketing texts will be addressed separately from this Policy.
-
Cookies and Advertising — You may manage cookies through browser or device controls and use applicable third-party advertising choices.
-
Access or Correction — You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or updates to personal information we maintain, subject to identity verification and applicable law.
-
Retention or Deletion Requests — You may ask us to delete information where applicable, but we may need to preserve contribution records, public-reporting information, or other records required by law. A communications opt-out does not necessarily remove information from legally required records or already published reports.
Rights available to you may vary by applicable law. Contact us using Section 12 to submit a request.
8. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and loss. Nevertheless, no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Policy, maintain PAC operations, address disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Financial and campaign-related records may need to be retained for periods established by Kansas law or applicable regulatory requirements. When retention is no longer necessary, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of information, subject to technical and legal limitations.
10. GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE
The Site is intended primarily for users in the United States. If you access it from another country, information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States, where privacy protections may differ from those in your location.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may revise this Policy as our activities, Site features, legal requirements, or data practices change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Changes will apply after they are posted, unless otherwise stated or required by law. We encourage visitors to review this Policy periodically.
